U.S. Army Special Forces (E-8)
James Vincent Clemente retired from the United States Army as an E-8 in Special Forces. After his military career, he served as the claims manager for the West Virginia Department of Veterans Affairs, where he gained comprehensive expertise in the VA benefits system, claims processing, and the bureaucratic challenges veterans face when seeking the support they have earned.
Based in Wood County, Clemente extends The Eight Fifty Committee’s reach into the southern portion of the service area. His combination of elite military service and deep institutional knowledge of the VA claims system makes him a critical asset to the organization, particularly as the Committee builds its Vetexpress benefits navigation program and pursues VA-Accredited Claims Agent capacity.
