To connect veterans to the services or programs needed and to ensure veterans receive the highest level of care.
We are brothers who joined the military out of a patriotic love for our Nation and the civic duty necessary to protect our freedoms. As far back as America needed service members our family has stood firm in a belief. This belief was reinforced in our childhood as our mother and father were both in the military leading by example. It was a belief based on the sacrifice of those before us, the love of our fellow Americans, and the freedoms this wonderful Nation has. The belief to protect our way of life.
This way of life was only possible because people believed in something greater than themselves. And we must not only honor those who stood when others could not, would not, or care naught; we must remain steadfast in the promise of the 1st Continental Congress.
Our veterans and their families absolutely need people to recognize the shortcomings of the systems built to extend benefits, provide assistance, and protect the most vulnerable in this population. But we must go a step further than merely recognizing the limits of such a system. We must correct these limits.
When we witnessed our family, our friends, and others suffering from the inability to receive the care, treatment, and help each so desperately needed, we said enough is enough. How can veterans be dismissed so easily but the budget for the VA balloons out of control and the number of non-profits helping veterans multiply every year, yet issues veterans suffer from continue to grow?
Our interest to help veterans has always been a part of who we are. In late 2022 we decided to do more than just care. The plan is to aggressively establish a name and a reputation of serving the best interests of veterans regardless of the program, assistance, or support offered and needed.
It is time for change.
This Veteran Service Organization focuses on Adequate Representation for all Veterans who need services tailored to their situational and personal circumstances. Not all Veterans’ experiences are the same, and neither can their support system be reflective of a one size fits all approach. We have the metrics necessary to measure this consequential approach. We must meet the veterans where they are and listen to their story.
Our goal is to funnel veterans to the appropriate organizations that have the veterans’ best interests in mind. By doing this we will prevent those who undermine the mission of helping such an important population in our society from benefitting while those in need suffer. Without those who stand it is likely we would all kneel. Please help us achieve this mission.
The place of shelter a non-profit creates is extremely important and absolutely necessary for a plethora of reasons however the goal of the Eight Fifty Committee is not limited to merely offering shelter but more of a terminal focus concentrated solely on the needs of the individual veteran never the group itself nor the specificities connected to the individual.
“Adequate Representation” allows veterans to commit to themselves and flourish in any way they desire. This is a large commitment for a deserving community, and their successful ventures or the peace of mind our organization can help create is payment enough and the reason we exist in the first place. The existence of our way of life is predicated on, protected through, and provided by the willingness of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines to fight for these and us.
It is time to return the favor.
To stand for those who stood and to fight for those who fought by protecting those who protected. Their sacrifice deserves “Adequate Representation.” From the beginning to the end and everything between. We will lend a helping hand to those who served.
The “Eight Fifty Committee” will provide resources to Veterans, so they are able to succeed at the same time push State and Congressional leaders to shore up the deficiencies which exacerbate the harm caused to our brave men and women—This was their promise.
Not only will the “Eight Fifty Committee” work tirelessly to stay true to our mission statement we will dedicate our resources to connect Veterans to other organizations—the ones that meet the standard of “adequacy.” And we will expose those who do not—This is our promise.

The Oupost
We are in the process of grant funding for a first ever “Veterans Health, Education, and Recreation Community Center” that offers not only services for veterans but also the community it serves as well.
Currently the plan is to build this center with a close proximity to a school to offer a daycare and after school tutoring program. It will also serve as a satellite office for State, County, and/or City Police representation.
Many possible sites are being discussed. This will allow the maximum benefit for the community from the existence of the campus based on a needs assessment.
